This is where I post news and updates about my life, work and more.
September, October, November and then done, done, done until we meet again in the Spring!
Here's the rest of my show sh-schedule for da fall.
This weekend, I will be at the Castle Rock Art Festival for the first time. I know a lot of artists who attend and it is a good show with art, music and more. Sat. 10th and Sun 11th, you will
find me in the southern section in booth 176. More info:

Sept. 24th and 25th, I will be back on the mall in Boulder for the Fall Festival. Again a 2 day event that runs Sat. from 11 to 10 pm (shop for hypertufa under the twinkle lights) and then again
on Sunday until 6pm. I am at the east end, booth #1411 at 15th St. and Pearl.
Off to California after that. If you have any friends or family out in the Bay Area/Monterey, please share that I will be at Succulent Garden Growers for their Fall Extravaganza which is an open
house with demos, and some great speakers divulging secrets of the succulent kind. I will be there with dirt, plants and planters, selling and potting. Here's a chance for all the California crowd to
gather round.
Dates for the event are Friday and Saturday Sept. 30, Oct. 1 from 9-4 Please visit the web site:
http://sgplants.com Most of the little darlings that I sell at my shows are the plants that I have so carefully selected and transported from these nice people on my return
trips out there. Great grower!
And finally, November. Just my one show at the Denver Botanic Gardens. This is a 4 day-er with an Opening Preview party on Thurs. eve. for which tickets are required. For Friday thru Sunday, it
is free to the public. The event is a shoppers delight but a visit to the fall gardens is one of my favorite "break" moments. Love this place! Fri./Sat. 9-5, Sun. 9-2
Have had a great show season thanks to so many of you. I get so many good ideas and suggestions for new designs, new accounts and new vigor for my hectic art life.
But as always, when I am done, done, done, I get to strap on the skis for a few months to teach and freedom ski. Always in inventory production, but a break from the show pace give me an
opportunity to mix it up.
Artist's Corner: Always like to pass along info on other artist whom I admire. These 2 nice ladies, I just met at Breckenridge and now have a bit more class in my home.
Victoria Eubanks Art: Beautifully displayed, friendly, comforting, homey paintings with an ethereal coating of encaustic wax. My flatware painting is now making all my food taste better as I
gaze at it in my kitchen. VictoriaEubanksArt.com Denver CO.
Mind's Eye Journals: Teresa Merriman was my neighboring artist and it was a bit dangerous. I think we could have traded our entire booths with each other! Fun when 2 artists are so taken with
each other's art! Her hand selected Amish hides are skillfully cut and hand bound into beautiful leather journals almost too pretty to use (but do!) Hand made paper, either writing or water color
invites writers and artists to indulge. Anything you put in them is going to look so much more impressive! Very nice neighbor too. MindsEyeJournals.com Westcliffe, CO.
Will welcome you back to my fall shows. But if we miss each other, it has been real nice to have had you in my 10'x10' world.
Sincerely, David
